malva office is a design and architecture practice focused on giving solutions through a paused process – founded in 2023 by Jose Cortés in Valencia, Spain. After years working alongside renowned architects such as Benedetta Tagliabue and Sou Fujimoto, he made the decision to establish his own studio. His work stretches across a variety of fields ranging from spatial interventions to the design of furniture and lighting pieces.

The practice seeks for objects to be aesthetically sustainable, researching production processes to understand the emergence of form. His work has been featured in Vogue, Sight Unseen, EDIT Napoli 2023 and Greenhouse 2024.

The atelier is located on the outskirts of Valencia, where the orchard is very present. It is a contemporary space where everything is designed for creativity. Which Jose transformed in 2020 to create an atelier and workshop for hands-on experimentation.
